History

The Casale's name has been taken from the first owner Corrado di Riena.

At the beginning the place was about 920 ha.

It was rememberd also in the 1296 under Federico II.

After the sicilian Vespri, the friars of Fossanova and Casemare gave it to the "Monastero di S. Martino delle Scale (Monreale)".
